At the heart of this venture are Joni Knerr and Karen Dennis, two friends whose paths crossed in Titusville and whose shared vision has now blossomed into a boutique catering to the vibrant women of the Space Coast. 

For Joni Knerr, Titusville has been home for the past seven years. With a career spanning 30 years in the medical field, she dedicated much of her life to caring for others. Alongside her late husband, Jerry, she also co-owned Titan Construction Company, helping to build dreams in a different way. After his passing in 2023, Joni found herself at a crossroads. But through her love of people, fashion, and the inspiration to embark on a new chapter, the vision for Sunflower Moon Boudoir was born. 

Karen Dennis has called Brevard County home for 35 years, building a career in finance with the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, where she worked for nearly three decades before retiring. Though numbers were her profession, style has always been her passion, and retirement gave her the opportunity to embrace this creative side fully.

The two women met while working together at a local Titusville business, quickly bonding over their mutual love of fashion and their deep appreciation for people. Their friendship soon evolved into a shared dream—to create a boutique that exudes whimsy, warmth, and wonder.
